Less Pay

Less paid employees are always less satisfied and work carelessly. Low pay structure leads towards low productivity. Employees who receive pays according to their work assignments work more willingly therefore all company heads should redesign their compensation strategies. Another reason of low productivity among less paid employees is that they concentrate in searching new jobs for them instead of making them concentrated in their work.

Strict Boss

A difficult or strict boss is one of the major factors that affect productivity of employees. Stress of dealing with difficult bosses is a common reason of low production. Bosses should provide their employees with friendly work environment and support smooth upward and downward communication. They should encourage suggestions and feedback from employees and put their suggestions under consideration. Special appreciation must be there in case of good and productive suggestions. All complaints from employee’s side must be resolved at once.

Boring Work Assignments

When same and same tasks are assigned to an employee then he may feel bored with that same routine therefore employer should change the task after sometime. Boring and dull routine leads towards low productivity. A challenging work task can uplift level of motivation of employee. Having a chance to prove oneself is a great time to give best production.

Poor Compensation Plan

When there is no or rare rewards for best performances then line of best performances will be shorten and shorten.  No reward leads towards dissatisfaction and discouragement. All employers should re-plan their compensation plans and give rewards to employees on annual basis in terms of promotion, cash prizes or best performance certificates etc. Annual or semi annual rewards ceremony can make the employees motivated towards their work.
